AS SEEN ON BBC WEBSITE ADVERTISING DUDLEY PERFORMING ARTS FESTIVAL AT HIMLEY 2008    STEP UP School Of Dance And Performing Arts is a brand new IDTA school which was established in March 2008 with on 60 pupils on our first open night the school now has 150 pupils in our four based studios, and we are still growing. Our principals are Miss Natasha Hansell and Miss Hayley Massey are qualified with the I.D.T.A and B.C.A, as well as being members and adjudicators of the A.D.F.P they are fully insured, CRB, music liecence and first aid. They have both had many years of dance experience as dancers, competitors and professionals, and have taught at well a established dance school for many years before setting up on their own and establishing ''STEP UP SCHOOL OF DANCE AND PERFORMING ARTS''. Our mission is to promote fitness, healthy lifestyle and excitment using dance. Our main important aim is to promote the fun side of dance.       Both Natasha and Hayley started dancing at a very young age. And they both competed in many top championship competitions around the country winning many titles in Freestyle, Slow Dance, Rock n Roll and Teams. They have both taken examinations under the I.D.T.A in Freestyle, Latin, Ballet and Tap, Show, Musical theatre, Ballroom, Arco/Gymnastics, Pairs, Slow Dance, as well as Natasha taking examinations under the U.K.A and B.C.A in Cheerleading. They both passed all ametur and professional examinations with results above 90%.          Both our professionals have danced on stage supporting local radio events, also supporting many charity events. They have both worked in schools and nurseries offering dance and performing arts. Natasha as also dance on many top London stage taking part in 'Stars In Their Eyes', 'Young Performers' and 'Mardi-Gras' to name a few, working alongside many famous stars.      They have both taken part in, as well as choreographing musical theatre shows and school dance show performances working on dancing, singing and acting.      Both Natasha and Hayley have been nominated for the prestigious John Dilworth and Bill Tasker awards. Natasha was chosen out of 550 professionals, which was cut down to just 36 around the world and was then short listed to the very last 8 nominees in which she went down to London for an interview in front of the President of the I.D.TA, President Elect of the I.D.T.A and many other top professionals in the world of dance!      Hayley and Natasha  are also both A.D.F.P adjudicator at competitions around the country, proudly representing 'STEP UP School of dance and performing arts'.       As today's performers are required to sing; act and dance if they want to have a career in performing so learn it all under one roof at our studios.      We hold classes for pupils from 2 years+ to professionals. And have a class suitable for people of all ages, from beginners to those who have previous experience!      We are also going to be holding IDTA and BCA examination yearly, as well as school shows and musical theatre performances. We are going to be taking our musical theatre classes to London to perform on stage at many well known theatres. We are also going to be taking part in radio tours, charity displays, freestyle, street and slow competitions all over the country and 'STEP UP' studio competitions. As well as helping students audition for opportunities outside the 'STEP UP' studio's        We want to make dancing fun as well as a way of keeping fit and meeting new people! We also put professionals through further professional qualification!
